I think it's no secret that Paris has amazing food, especially desserts. I have some specific places and also just some general suggestions of what to try while you're vacationing here!

Get some crepes
Well this is a given right? You can't go to France and not eat any crepes! It's a right of passage. You can get crepes from various cafes, restaurants and street vendors. Honestly my favorite one was from a street vendor because I am perfectly happy with the simple crepe with sugar inside and plus you get to see them make it fresh in front of you! You can also get different fillings at vendors if you want, the most popular being nutella. I enjoyed a nice crepe while watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night and it remains one of the highlights of my travels. You can definitely go to a legit creperie if you're looking for full savory crepes or fancy dessert crepes, I had a nice savory crepe when I went to Nice and it was amazing!
Eat cheese fondue and drink wine out of a baby bottle at Refuge des Fondus
My friend who I was traveling with had us go to this place and I am so glad we did! Not only do you get to have amazing cheese fondue with all kinds of things to dip in it but you also get to drink wine out of baby bottles. Sounds weird but honestly its genius cause if you get to hammered you don't spill or break anything. Why don't all places do this? It's also bench seating with everyone next to each other so it has a fun vibe. We actually made friends with the people sitting next to us and had a great time with them!

Eat all the pastries (eclairs, macarons, croissants etc)
I love sweets so this is v important to me. I did not eat nearly enough sugar when I was in Paris. So I need to go back to eat more. Any good looking bakery, dessert shop you see its probably good to be honest. Go eat some eclairs, macarons and croissants and anything else that looks good. You will be very happy. But as someone who is allergic to nuts, also be careful cause there are a variety of desserts that use almond flour and they don't commonly label allergens. I ate a macaron cause I didn't know it was made with almond flour and lets just say it didn't go very well.
Explore Rue St. Anne for Japanese food
Shoutout to my sister for this recommendation! She studied abroad in Paris twice so I had to trust her judgement! You
would think its impossible to find good Asian food in Paris and also why would you need that if you are surrounded by French food, but if you are like my sister and I, you need an Asian

food fix regularly, especially Japanese. Also I would never turn my back on a good Japanese restaurant, so I had to check this street out. The street is FILLED with Japanese restaurants.
You will have soooo many choices it's ridiculous, I was shocked. And even more shocking, the food was actually really good. So if you need a break from sugary pastries and want to eat some sushi or ramen then come explore this street!
Enjoy a huge sandwich at Mmmozza
Shoutout to my roommate for this recommendation! She also studied abroad in Paris! This place has awesome huge sandwiches with amazing bread, fresh ingredients and soooo much good cheese. The mozzarella thoughhhhhh. Get it, it's so good. Definitely the place to go if you are really hungry or just have a big appetite like me. I literally got an entire baguette as a sandwich and I finished the entire thing. It was very satisfying.
There are plentyyyyyy of other things to eat in Paris that I haven't mentioned and also I am more limited cause I am vegetarian so make sure to do some research and also just wander! I was very happy with the bakeries I randomly stumbled upon.
